What Make Us Different?
There are lots of amp companies in the world that build a great amp. Most are closely based on an American or British amp design from the 1960's and offer a much higher build quality than the big names can offer.We've taken a different approach. We focused on building amps that create great tone and sound like what you hear in your head. Then we added control, reliability, and touch sensitivity while maintaining the high build quality of a hand built boutique amp.
A Mahalo can be dialed down to keep any soundman happy (or keep the lady of the house off your back) and still make you sound like a rock god. All Mahalo amps are built to respond to you and how you play.
It's a fact. The more stuff between your strings and the speakers, the more the tone of your guitar is degraded. (Darn those pesky laws of physics!) We created an amp that you can use to create killer clean and dirty tones without adding pedals or channels so more of your playing gets through to the speakers. And ultimately to your audience.
It bears repeating, our goal at Mahalo is to build the ultimate gigging and studio amp that can also live quietly at home without legal representation.
Our philosophy is simple; no bad settings on the amp. We work hard to make sure that we attain that goal and you get killer tone, usability, and reliability. After all is said and done. It's about the tone. Period.
